If you have a question for our panel please enter it here or use the 'raise your hand' feature. You are welcome to come off mute to ask your question.

01:12:55
will the recording be available after this session?

01:13:03
Yes!

01:14:51
what challenges our panelist faced as they were developing their leadership career? How did they overcome these challenges?

01:15:39
Comment. The outstanding leadership I have worked with can simultaneously navigate tactical and strategic without getting confused. Also you have to doubt a strategy that doesn't manifest itself in tactics ...easily

01:15:55
love that! progression not perfection!

01:16:27
🙌🏻 on progress not perfection and having the tactical plan

01:16:41
i agree with Sharon! one of the things covid has brought in a “normalization” of family responsibility

01:21:07
what a great comment - leadership/role model # title

01:23:39
Marlo - that was the same for me. I was such a driver then I have shifted into less of a driver and more of a collaborator.

01:26:58
It is great to hear that the panelist faced similar challenges (lone woman in the room, driver\tough perception) as we (as women) have faced in the leadership position. Thanks for sharing

01:34:52
Agreed!!!

01:35:59
Agree that we will have to figure out the hybrid model. It will be different for everyone

01:37:23
Often women’s work and contributions are overlooked, as you mentioned earlier. Are you using data to analyze things like velocity of promotions or awards/recognition for women versus men?

01:38:12
I would love to see the those skills mentioned by Joanna carry as much weight as the technical skills when it comes time for a job rotation or promotion.

01:40:05
FYI - good book recommendation: “Invisible Women” - data bias in a world designed for men (caroline cried perez)

01:40:23
With the continuation of remote working - it will become harder to promote culture. Especially as you bring on new teammates who don't have any identification with the past culture. This will take additional work/communication across the enterprise to ensure cultural adoption.

01:41:37
Thank you, Shelley, for the book recommendation: https://www.amazon.com/Invisible-Women-Data-World-Designed/dp/1419729071

01:41:37
How do you overcome the way women are perceived as "emotional" vs when men get louder/more emphatic its viewed as "decisive" or assertive?

01:42:51
Yes, sponsorship is key! Thanks for the callout Joanna

01:43:15
I agree Joanna! Sponsorship is definitely key

01:45:52
thanks for having me <3

01:47:54
100% Agreed measuring the velocity on equity is key

01:52:34
